Bounties, locks and $MEDF

$MEDF is the cost of making the machine work. Three uses, all inside the product.

The bond

Every submission posts 1000 $MEDF, returned the moment the filters pass and burned if they do not. A free verifier with no bond is an invitation to spray a million malformed or PAINS-flagged strings at it; the bond is what makes it affordable to keep the verifier free for everyone who is actually trying. Until the mint exists, submissions are free and rate-limited by address, and the practice pockets stay bondless afterwards.

The fee

5% of every bounty settled buys $MEDF on Jupiter. Half of what it buys goes to the solver on top of their USDC, half is burned. Under 0.20 USDC the fee accrues and swaps in one batch a day, with each solver's share kept in the batch's ledger, because a swap of three cents would cost more than it moves.

The lock

Anyone can lock $MEDF behind a pocket to raise its bounty. The lock goes to the solver when the pocket is beaten and is withdrawable after 7 days if it is not, so holders decide which disease target the swarm attacks tomorrow with their own money rather than with a vote.

Holding without submitting, locking or solving earns nothing, and there is no distributor contract: on Solana the keeper does each leg and each leg is a public signature.
